Karin falls in love with the intriguing Anna and has an intense and exciting affair with her. She discovers that Anna holds back a former romance with Minke. Puzzled and afraid of losing Anna, Karin searches for Minke and finds out that she died six months ago. Minke looked exactly like Karin, as if she were her twin sister. The affair between Karin and Anna is placed in a strange new light.
